Perched on the foothills of imposing mountains, chalet Cabri overlooks the vast ski area and the famous glacier de Monêtier. Its name, which means “kid”, suits the chalet really well since you can gaze at hares, ibexes and deer hurtling down the neighbouring slopes. Nature is everywhere. Larch, fir trees and breathtaking vertical landscapes are reflected in the numerous windowpanes opening onto the garden, the terrace or the balcony. Adorned with local timber, this newly built ski lodge was finished in 2008. Although it exudes peace, tranquility and relaxation, it is only a two minute drive from the ski lifts and the village.
The chalet sleeps up to 8 adults and 2 children in 6 light and airy bedrooms. Groups of friends or family will curl up on the striped sofas and armchairs by a crackling fire…before sitting down in the contemporary dining room. In the morning, as soon as the French baguettes and croissants are delivered, they will savour a delicious breakfast in front of the snow-covered peaks. Then the chauffeur will drive the skiers to the ski lifts while the non-skiers will enjoy a stroll through picturesque hamlets, or a walk down to the Grands Bains du Monêtier, a brand new thermal resort with over 4500 square metres dedicated to rest and relaxation. Unless they prefer to stay in the chalet, relaxing by the log fire or sunbathing on the south-facing terrace, with panoramic mountain views…
